A PEEK AT WHAT'S COMING UP THIS September 2020 AT RUNWAY CHEF HQ

white Ranunculus for September 2020

Editor’s Note // The first day of September always feels a bit like a changing of the guards, one season morphing into the next. Even if it still feels like summer (which it inevitably does, especially here in LA), you can still sense that fall is officially on its way. And I for one am definitely ready to embrace it.

Speaking of changes, I’m excited to launch my first virtual vacation later this month, but before that I’ll be announcing some exciting new things for this space. Can’t wait to share!

xx

what I’m pinning //

my September Inspo board is full seasonal transitions, lightweight knits, final summer moments and catching the last of that golden summer glow

what I’m listening to //

believe it or not, the Virgin River soundtrack has been really lovely listen that feels especially perfect for this transitional time between seasons

what I’m reading //

The Paris Hours for book club and Living a Beautiful Life (an oldie but a goodie filled with simple little reminders and steps on making every part of life enjoyable and beautiful)

what I’m watching //

Tad Lasso, which has been really funny, Sweet Magnolias and, as I’m sure you might have gathered from the mention up above, Virgin River

what I’m following on Instagram //

this account, which is giving me the perfect end-of-summer vibes, a new-to-me account for interior inspo and this beautiful olive oil brand

what I’m cooking //

I’m on a major salmon kick as of late so I’ve been experimenting with different ways to prepare it, and I’m also fully embracing fig season and using them any and every which way I can!

what I’m shopping for //

matching sets and lightweight knits

what I’m up to //

tackling our list of never-ending home projects which, this month, includes finishing up our dining area (which entails experimentations in making a concrete table base…spoiler alert- I will not be quitting my day job to go into the concrete business lol) and picking out a bedroom rug. Also hoping to do a closet clean out, work on some clay pieces (our latest hobby) + start to look into options for a potential socially distanced road trip getaway later this fall.
