September 2019 Reading List

WHAT I READ THIS MONTH AND WHAT I’M DIVING INTO NEXT MONTH // WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING, COOKING FROM OR BROWSING THROUGH FOR INSPO?

PACIFIC NATURAL BY JENNI KAYNE

ONE DAY IN DECEMBER //

You know how sometimes in life it just seems like timing is off? Well, that’s essentially what happens throughout this entire book. Two people, their timing forever off. But it’s those missed opportunities, every one full of hope that maybe this will be the time, that keep you hanging on, wondering if each chance will finally be their time. It’s a longer book, and the beginning feels a bit slow, but once you get about a third of the way through, it’s hard to put down. Definitely worth a read, in my opinion!

PACIFIC NATURAL //

The Jenni Kayne team sent me this book recently, and it immediately took up a permanent residence on our coffee table. It’s absolutely stunning and I love the way the book is divided by seasons, with everything from what produce is in season to tabelscapes to thoughtful DIY parting gifts and simple, but elevated craft ideas, delicious recipes and even a super helpful checklist of items you should always have on hand for easier entertaining. It makes entertaining easy and approachable but still elevated and elegant.

Up Next: I’m currently finishing City of Girls and The Smart One, then moving onto My Friend Anna (I’m next on the waitlist at the library) and hoping to get my hands on the soon-to-be-released Travel Home to browse through the beautiful global-inspired interiors.
