The Fall List
At the risk of sounding like a broken record,
fall is, hands down, my favorite season. I know, I know, I say it every year, and yet, every year the love for this season grows deeper. I’ll never tire of cozy moments, crisp apples, musk-scented candles, changing leaves and sweaters that wrap you in a warm embrace.
While I won’t be able to savor this season as much as I’d like to {I’m heading into a few of my busiest travel months to-date}, I’m doing what I can stop and smell the roses, er, the musk scented candles. Here’s what I’m most looking forward to this fall-

-roasting allllll the squash {Delicata on repeat!}
-making big batches of cozy soups and chili
-eating at least one apple cider donut {It’s a must!}
-drinking some hard ciders
-sipping on a toasty cinnamon latte on crisp mornings

-adding some crisp new sheets and fresh fluffy towels to our linen closet
-making fall floral arrangements full of dark burgundies and warm neutral tones {Hello Pampas grass!}

-playing board games while drinking wine
-sipping on fall cocktails by the fire
-hosting an impromptu cheese tasting party
-gathering friends for a chili night

-stocking up on cozy knits

-adding a pair of croc print boots to my closet {this is one pair I’m definitely eyeing}
-rotating moisturizing oils and creams into my skincare routine
-playing with darker lip and nail shades
-picking out a few new gold chain jewelry pieces
-restocking on any basics that got worn out over the summer months

-searching for fall foliage
-spending some time in one of my favorite places during the fall season, New York City {Central Park is calling my name!}
-heading to wine country for a girls’ trip
-checking off 1 of the last 2 states I have never visited
-enjoying autumnal beach days full of golden light and cooler temps

-donating gently used sweaters to those in need
-packing with a purpose to make the most out of all of my upcoming travel
-volunteering to serve a warm meal

-taking advantage of the cooler weather with some local hikes
-booking a facial to deal with post-summer skin
-spending at least one day completely phone free
-staying in my robe for the duration of at least one crisp, cool morning
-cleaning up photos, phones, computers, emails, etc. so everything is fresh + easy to find for the rest of 2019
