As hard as I try, I can't seem to get away from blues, white and stripes. Yes, occasionally there is the pop of pink or red, and, of course, lots of gray and black, but those blues and whites hold steady in my closet. Upon making this observation to Mr. RC, and puzzling out loud if I should attempt to incorporate other colors into my wardrobe, he assured me that I should not, as "blues and stripes are my brand". While he may be right, I also realized, it's my love for the sea that drives my clothing choices. I may not physically always be at the ocean, but in my heart and mind I am forever beachside, for "The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever" (Jacques Yves Cousteau).
