Tangerine //

Honestly, I've had my eye on this book since it came out. But apparently so has everyone else because it's been next to impossible to check out of the library. Fingers crossed I'll finally get it this month. I'm definitely intrigued by the combination of Morocco, summer vacation meets mystery, and twisted friendships.

The L.A. Cookbook //

Spotted this in a store in Venice, instantly knew I needed it in our home, and next thing I know my sweet friend Nicole is giving it to us as a host gift for letting her stay with us. I meeeeaaaan....it's been so fun flipping through it, finding recipes to make from some of our favorites while also learning about some places that we can't wait to check out. So basically it's like a restaurant guide + cookbook all rolled into one!

The After Party //

Is it bad that the cover illustration is what drew me to this book? I mean, just be honest! Ok, but once I read the description and found out the story involved glitz and glamour and high society and one review basically called it Gossip Girls of the south, I was like "Um yes please"!
