Happy Hour

{Enjoying snowy Central Park}

Welcome to the winter edition of Happy Hour, in which I share with you pictures of a cold and snowy New York. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the warm weather down south. It's a cruel world we live in, isn't it? If it makes you feel better, though, we're scheduled to have rain our entire trip....soooooo there's that. And don't worry, I didn't make all the pictures snowy...

Believe it or not, there are so many snow-covered New York places that I had yet to capture on camera, so, 4 1/2 years later, we finally started to make that happen. On the last two weekends,we made it a point to dash out as soon as the snow started falling. Last week, we shot in Brooklyn Bridge Park and this past weekend we ventured up to Central Park. Even though there are still plenty of people around, there is something so magical quiet about snow falling in the city. Things seem more peaceful, more calm, untouched and beautifully clean, as if one was truly in a snow globe. In fact, it's so magical, that I may or may not have shrieked like a small child about to go sledding after each picture we took in Central Park (aka looked like that picture up above). I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed shooting them!

P.S. Make sure you're following along on Instagram and Snapchat (username: runwaychef) for lots of behind-the-scenes pictures from our trip and a few fun surprises.
