Anyone else in shock that Easter is, uh, like basically here?! No complaints coming from me, as this time of year, with the return of flowers and sunshine and warm weather, is always my favorite. But still, how is it already this time of year? I’ll blame my heavy travel schedule for not knowing what day or season it is.
Speaking of which, I absolutely love traveling, and feel so lucky that it’s part of my job, but the downside of more travel is less routine and less cooking. Yes, I’m that girl that misses staying in and cooking as opposed to always going out to eat (I do NOT, however, miss doing dishes…EVER!). I had all sorts of grand plans for some new Easter recipes to share with y’all, but that was when I thought Easter was still a month away, not 5 days. As they say, sometimes the best laid plans… So, while I don’t have any brand new recipes, I’m rounding up some of my favorite Easter recipes (below), including appetizers, side dishes, desserts and even one of my favorite candy bark recipes ever (perfect for adding to Easter baskets).
Do you have a favorite traditional Easter food, or Easter candy? I don’t have a recipe for it here but one of my favorite things is my family’s pineapple coconut cream pie, and, they’re too sweet for me now, but I used to pop Cadbury Eggs at an alarmingly fast rate (Why did no one ever cut me off?!).
