In my mind, it's all rosey from Valentine's Day on out. Well, maybe the weather isn't always so rosy, but that doesn't mean other things can't be. I mean, February is basically the unofficial month of the rose, is it not??
I think you know by now how much I love having fresh flowers on hand, but, if you've been reading for a while now, you probably also know that I enjoy cooking with flowers. Flowers + food, I mean, does it really get sweeter than that? Well, maybe if it's these rose flavored caramels. Yup, that's right. Stopping to smell the roses wasn't enough for me. I wanted to be able to stop and eat the roses. I know, I know. I'm so corny (er, should I say rosy?!) I just can't help myself. And you won't be able to stop helping yourself to more of these caramels. Seriously. They're a bit labor intensive (only a bit, I promise), but oh so good.
