Since many of our guests were from out-of-town, my wedding shower wasn’t the typical 3 months before the wedding, but instead the day before (in case you haven’t noticed by now, I rarely do what you would consider “typical”). Nonetheless, I think it ended up working out for the best, as it allowed all the ladies to have a relaxing afternoon together, a “calm before the storm” if you will. My good friend Penelope graciously hosted, and she did a spectacular job! A huge, huge thank you to her for a lovely afternoon!

I am wearing- Dress: BCBG Max Azria via Nordstrom Rack, Shoes: Zara, Jacket: Vintage, Necklace: Borrowed from my MOH, Bag: Chanel.
*A side story concerning my dress- I knew I had to incorporate BCBG Max Azria into my wedding one way or another. See basically, they’re the reason I am now a married woman (and they don’t even know it!). A few years back, I was working at BCBG, when the Mr. came into say “Hi” to his friend’s girlfriend (my coworker). She introduced us, and well, the rest is history. So thank you BCBG for helping me find the love of my life! Who knew there was more to retail jobs then just a little ol’ paycheck?! *
*Most of the above images are mine, but I did include a few taken by some of my friends*
