In past posts (here, here, and here) you have seen snippets of items found in my office space. However, since I am a perfectionist and I believe my work is never done (especially when it comes to decorating), I have never shown you full pictures of my little work corner (or any other rooms in our apartment for that matter). After months of working on some DIY projects (perfectionist and procrastinator are a deadly combination!) to spruce up my desk, I decided it was time to share. It’s much more cluttered than I prefer. But when you live in NYC and you’re creative, well, this glitter covered, paper overflowing, craft scissor abounding circus is what you are going to get….that or I’m just in denial of being a hoarder, in which case I will continue using NYC as my cover-up! Hope you enjoy the pictures (see the details of each item below the very last picture) and maybe even get some ideas for you own creative space design!

Desks: Walmart, Magazine storage, pen/pencil/marker containers & paper rack: Ikea, Storage boxes: Ikea (sprayed painted gold by me), Sewing machine: a present from my parents, Stool: Ikea via Craig’s List, Gold dino, ribbon garland, business card holder & pink ruffle covered lampshade: DIY, Framed picture: via my brother, Parisian notecards: TJ Maxx, Frenchie Calendar: a gift from my mother-in-law
P.S. Come back on Thursday for a tutorial on how to make your own business card holder similar to the one on my desk!
