For a place that oozes red, white and blue, nostalgia from days gone by, and lots of good ol’ fashion American charm, like The Lobster Roll does, it seemed only appropriate to don our own red (nails), white (shoes, bag and top) and blue (shorts and dress) attire to head there for a little lobster lunchin’. And when I say little, I actually mean a lot. But don’t let me spoil your appetite. Michelle can fill you in on all the lobster-y, seafood and dessert goodness that we devoured at what may be my new favorite place in Eastern Long Island (see her article here). What I can tell you about lunch, is that Michelle and I were both glad to be wearing clothing that was light and loose. Let’s just say our pieces pulled double duty on keeping us cool AND hiding just how much we food we really consumed. But we’ll keep that last part between you and I, shall we, and instead focus on the good clothes, good food and good American vibes just in time for the 4th of July.
